Re: BB transfer portal is open
So what really is donor fatigue? Well... For what I would consider the "average + Wyoming fan"...on the low end of estimating costs Football Tickets (2) $1800 (includes seat donation) Basketball Tickets (2) $600 CJC Donation $1000 WYO Trips / Away Games / Post Season $2000+ CJC Auction / G...

Re: BB transfer portal is open
Speaking of transfers: https://twitter.com/VerbalCommits/status/1772296599256900008 You mean to tell me that the best basketball coach ever, lost his top talent to the portal / NIL? Even after said coach hired Noah's older brother Nic as assistant coach? How can this happen?!?!

Re: BB transfer portal is open
Well, there goes the most talented player on the team I guess. I hate the portal. I hate NIL (in it's current form). I am starting to hate college athletics and athletes. Do you really believe this exodus at Wyoming is NIL driven? A guy that didn’t even play. I highly doubt there are big doll...

Re: BB transfer portal is open
Well, I liked what I saw from him the few times he played (early season). He was recruited by some decent schools (Villanova, South Carolina, etc.), and was supposedly a top 200 recruit when Linger & Co signed him. Not sure if he would have developed or not.

Re: 24-25 Roster
Jeebus guys. We were in the tournament 2 years ago! Last year was an unmitigated disaster, mostly due to the worst rash on injuries that has ever happened in college basketball. This year, for all intents and purposes, wasn't bad, considering that we turned over the entire roster. R-E-L-A-X Utah st...

Hell no. It is a novelty, that in 10 years will be dead (again).

Re: MWC Basketball to go to 20 game conference schedule
No doubt about it, I would also include Colorado, Utard, Weber, Utard Valley, Southern Utard, University of South Dakota, Colorado School of Mines, CSU Pueblo, etc., as possible out of conference games. Build it up regionally. Maybe even discuss bringing back the s hi tshow in Casper. :thumb: As a ...

Re: MWC Basketball to go to 20 game conference schedule
DU, Northern Colorado, and Montana State should be a staple in our non-conference basketball schedule every single year. Travel is relatively easy with those teams, and I have to believe our fans care more about a game against a regional team they recognize vs. a school they have to google to find ...

Falcons are dirty on the hardwood, just like the gridiron. And Mason couldn't hit his ass with both hands (sans free throws) last night. 4 missed layups in the first 5 minutes of the game!Itsux2beaewe wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 7:50 pm Wow, Walter’s taking a beating tonite. He should have padded up.

I am dating myself, but there used to be such a thing...from Cheytown to Laramie on football gamedays. Was quite a hoot from what I heard.

Would love to have AFA in November...instead of our usual having to play them early, when they are at thier strongest.

So you’re saying we kind of stink. I agree I believe our senior laden team could possibly end the conference season on a 2 game winning streak before losing its first game in the MWCT. Just makes you wonder, or at least me wonder, every time I read something like this, how did #22 USU not return a ...

Re: Linder got tossed.
For those of you who went to the game Saturday, hopefully you watched as I did, when Leon started working the refs on the very first Donkie call. That guy is a master at MWC ref manipulation. He was even "warned" to chill on several occasions but never got the T - maybe because of his ten...

When student athletes become employees of the university with unlimited transfers and thousands if not millions in NIL money I will no longer be interested. Entitled little $hits can go to hell. If your comment about Entitled little $hits can go to hell. is about the NCAA, conference and university...
