Re: Interesting year in the MWC

Wyoming beats Utah State last year if Chambers played the whole game. Chambers or Tyler need a WR to become a threat in the worst way. We also need a FB who can become a receiving threat like Vanmannen Not 100% sure about beating USU - but there is no doubt we beat Hawaii with Chambers in the game ...

Re: Tours

Good question. Guessing the answer would be "no" seeing how tight things are kept during the season. But, I think it may depend on your donation (current) as well (CJC).

Wait, What? Wyonation is probably not the best place to recruit athletes for your program. Best of luck though!

That we offered the number 1 recruit in the country... I can't remember us ever trying for that. At least we r trying
I like it! In fact, I think that UW should offer the top 50 (or so) automatically every year. Same with basketball.

Re: West side stadium renovation and new pool in the works?

Well here's one way to raise some money I guess.. Is this the beginning of the end for the Summit View lot? https://oilcity.news/wyoming/2019/05/27/university-trustees-vote-to-sell-uw-plaza-land-to-developer/ The land lease they are referring to is the land located south of Arrowhead Lane, basicall...

Re: Wyo should add Baseball/softball/Beach Volleyball

Beach volleyball? In Wyoming. LOLOLOLOLOL.

Wyoming isn't going to add ANY sport - no matter if it makes sense or not. In fact, if Tom had his way, we would downsize more, but then we wouldn't be compliant to be members of the MWC.

Re: West side stadium renovation and new pool in the works?

This is not going to turn out well and is going to be received poorly by the legislature. As packaged, the legislature will be a hard NO and those are the facts. Trustee Kermit Brown (and former House speaker) was right to suggest that these should be packaged separately as the Corbett Pool is more...

Re: New coach hired

He was a rental hire anyway. His son plays at Iowa. There are probably some "old timers" who would like to coach again and just waiting on the opportunity. Good point. Hope so...kind of a rough read when it comes to the coaching changes this off season. Are they not under contract / obligation - at...

I imagine a world where wyonation members read a post like this, recognize it for what it is and ignores it. Angry responses, insults and attempts to reason are exactly what a troll is after. One day, maybe. Well - then the moderators / site-owners should just delete the thread entirely, and block ...

Re: Legerski Retires

The WYO connections / pipeline is in good shape. In fact, there are some former UW assistants out there, as active head coaches right now, that would be perfect a fit back at UW. With the fanbase & facilities, along with built in decent attendance & support, the position is appealing.

Regardless - I am quite surprised by all the bridge-burning these days. Can't help but think at some point all these quitters will get bit in the ass from some of their decisions. You never know who will be your boss tomorrow...

Re: quit fooling ourselves

U Dub athletics needs to exit Division 1 NCAA sports. The football program needs to drop down to FCS. Mountain West? Naw....we need to be in the Big Sky conference. I'm a native of Ohio (Columbus). Want to see a legit Div. 1 program? No need to look past tOSU for an example of a real Div. 1 program...

Good for Joe, he did a lot for UW Women's hoops, especially early on. Those 2006, 7, 8 teams built the program and attendance to what it is today.

Re: Sorry i haven't been around guys

Had emergency hernia surgery to repair the surgery from 2015 on April 19. Took 5 hours. I'm currently at a rehab hospital, same one as before in 2015. I should be out in a week or two since my strength is a lot better this time around. Sounds rough - had no idea! Wish you a fast recovery - take it ...

Steve Alford hired today, interesting 10 year contract as well. I don't know who the bigger asshole is - Mussleman or Alford... At this point in Wyoming men's basketball, I'd take either one of them over Edwards. No doubt about that. Hope that I am wrong, but I really don't see anyway Edwards...

#50 Ryan Gatoloai-Faupula? Was a promising LB from Sacramento - last listed as a 2018 Sophomore, 6'1" 216. I remember him being highly praised by Bohl in the spring of 2018...now it appears he isn't even on the roster. Couldn't find any news, etc. https://twitter.com/CFBRanking/status/1105575598817...
