This commitment comes after the very first early signing period in college football history in December, where the Pokes signed 20 freshmen to their 2018 roster.<\/p>\n<p>The 6-1, 190 pound\u00a0Fulgencio was a two way player for Sequoyah High School playing both RB and OLB in his prep career. His 2017 season was cut short due to injury but he was named the Oklahoma Preps player of the week after rushing for 440 yards and 6 touchdowns in a 69 to 21 win for\u00a0Sequoyah over Verdigris.<\/p>\n<p>Fulgencio picked the Cowboys over offers from Eastern Michigan, Illinois State, Missouri\u00a0State and Southern Illinois.\u00a0 He chose to play his college football at Wyoming because, &#8220;How everyone treated me and my family when I was there. I felt like I was at home! I felt like everyone knew me and that made me feel really appreciated.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Fulgencio is the first Oklahoma prep to join Wyoming&#8217;s 2018 recruiting class after the Pokes did not sign a player from that state in 2017. In the past, Wyoming has hit The Sooner State hard signing a total of 7 players from the state in 2015 and 2016 combined.<\/p>\n<p>The lead recruiter for Fulgencio was coach Mike Bath and Fulgencio made his official visit to Laramie this past fall on the weekend of\u00a0September 30th for the Texas\u00a0State game.<\/p>\n<p>Fulgencio is the second running back to commit to this class joining Jevon Bigelow (Fresno, CA) who signed with the Cowboys in December. When asked about what he likes about playing the running back position Fulgencio responded, &#8220;What I like the most about being a running back is that it gives me a feeling that no other sport does.
