On signing day the 23 scholarship players signed by head coach Craig Bohl and the Wyoming football program garnered most of the headlines. In addition to the players who will be on scholarship there was a massive list of 25 walk-ons who will join the Cowboy Football program this summer and fall. These players may lack the ability to play Division 1 football right now, but after a redshirt year and a few years in the weight program a handful of these players may develop into productive players who are able to contribute as juniors and seniors.
