The University of Wyoming unveiled new Nike “Mach Speed” football uniforms today featuring the latest technology from the Oregon based uniform supplier. The look will be familiar to longtime fans as the new uniforms are a modern take on the ones that were worn in the 80’s and 90’s by the Pokes. The whole word “WYOMING” in the same western font the basketball uniforms use returns above the numbers after a spell were the uniforms just had a “WYO”. Wyoming’s unique helmet remains intact with the famous “Steamboat” logo and the only change to the predominantly white helmet, is a thicker brown and gold stripe to match the stripes on the shoulders of the uniform tops.<\/p>\n
