Today, I would like to focus on the top Wyoming\u00a0Cowboys who have been drafted based on their NFL\/AFL production (click on their underlined name to see their career stats). Be sure to check back tomorrow for some more Wyoming related NFL fun, now on to the list!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #663300\">5. <\/span><span style=\"color: #663300\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HampDa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #663300;text-decoration: underline\">Dave Hampton <\/span><\/a><\/span>RB\/KR, Green Bay, 9th Round, 1969<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cdn.fansided.com\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/165\/files\/2010\/04\/hamptondave.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"HamptonDave\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.fansided.com\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/165\/files\/2010\/04\/hamptondave.jpg?w=150\" width=\"150\" height=\"127\" \/><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hampton is not a well known\u00a0Wyoming player by today&#8217;s fanbase but he had a productive NFL career playing a total of 8 years between\u00a01969 to 1976. During that time he rushed for 4,536 yards, had 1,156\u00a0yards in receptions and totaled 2,923 yards in kick returns. In 1975 he was the NFL comeback player of the year when he rushed for 1,002 yards for the Atlanta Falcons. In his first year with the Falcons in 1972 he led the NFL in all-purpose yards with 1,774.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #663300\">4.<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HillJe00.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #663300;text-decoration: underline\">Jerry Hill<\/span> <\/a><\/span><span style=\"color: #663300\">RB\/FB, Baltimore,\u00a03rd Round\u00a01961<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cdn.fansided.com\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/165\/files\/2010\/04\/jlh032809_card.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"jlh032809_card\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.fansided.com\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/165\/files\/2010\/04\/jlh032809_card.jpg?w=104\" width=\"104\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hill who\u00a0was born in Torrington, WY played\u00a0eight years for the Baltimore Colts from 1963-1970.\u00a0During his career he rushed for 2,668 yards mostly as a fullback splitting carries with Hall of Famer Lenny Moore. Hill played in SB III which is a game you might have heard about before.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #663300\">3.<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;color: #663300\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/D\/DoblCo00.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #663300;text-decoration: underline\">Conrad Dobler <\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"color: #663300\">G, St. Louis, 5th Round 1972<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cdn.fansided.com\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/165\/files\/2010\/04\/dobler.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"dobler\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.fansided.com\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/165\/files\/2010\/04\/dobler.jpg?w=127\" width=\"127\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What can you say about Conrad Dobler? Let\u2019s get the niceties\u00a0out of the way\u00a0first shall we? In his ten year\u00a0career he started 90 games and made the Pro Bowl three times from 1975-1977. The way he got there may not have been\u00a0ideal as Dobler\u00a0was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated\u00a0as the dirtiest player in the NFL, a title later upheld by <a href=\"http:\/\/espn.go.com\/page2\/s\/list\/dirtiest\/players.html\" target=\"_blank\">ESPN<\/a>. If you ever see an old feature of him\u00a0on NFL Films be sure to watch it, you will see how dirty and mean he was!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #663300\">2.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #663300\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/K\/KiicJi00.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;color: #663300\">Jim Kiick <\/span><\/a>RB, Miami, 5th Round 1968<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cdn.fansided.com\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/165\/files\/2010\/04\/200px-kiickcsonkasi1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"200px-KiickCsonkaSI\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.fansided.com\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/165\/files\/2010\/04\/200px-kiickcsonkasi1.jpg?w=109\" width=\"109\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kiick\u00a0spent 9 years in the AFL\/NFL most of them with the Dolphins splitting\u00a0carries with Larry Csonka and Mercury Morris. Not bad eh? In his career Kiick\u00a0rushed for 3,759 yards and played in Superbowls VI, VII and VIII. He made the Pro Bowl in 1968 and 1969 and led the AFL in rushing touchdowns in 1969 as well.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #663300\">1.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #663300\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/N\/NovaJa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #663300;text-decoration: underline\">Jay Novacek <\/span><\/a><\/span>TE, St. Louis, 6th Round, 1985<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cdn.fansided.com\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/165\/files\/2010\/04\/novacek.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"novacek\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.fansided.com\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/165\/files\/2010\/04\/novacek.jpg?w=120\" width=\"120\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is no question who would be number one on this list. Novacek\u00a0played 11 years for the Cardinals and Cowboys and finished his career with 422 receptions for 4,630 yards and 30 TD\u2019s.
