Round two of Wyoming’s CBI journey is upon us as the Cowboys take on the Washington State Cougars in Pullman, Washington. The Pokes are a slight underdog with Vegas favoring the Pac-12 school by three points. Wyoming will have every opportunity to come away from this contest with a win but they will have to play better defense than they did against North Dakota State.\u00a0In terms of\u00a0statistics the two teams are pretty evenly matched in FG%, FT%, and 3P\u00a0FG% with the Cougars having a slight edge in scoring (68.8 points per game to Wyoming’s 63.3) and rebounding (33.0 boards per game to 29.5).<\/p>\n

Wyoming seems to be the more battle tested team having played in a better conference resulting in a higher RPI and tougher\u00a0strength of schedule. This game is on the road though and the Cougars are 10-4\u00a0in Pullman so Wyoming will have to play one of their\u00a0most complete games of the year if they are to make it into the next round.
