Josh Allen Is Back! Photo Credit: Pete Arnold

In news that will be music to the ears of Wyoming fans. It was announced today by Wyoming football coach Craig Bohl that QB Josh Allen will be the starter for the Cowboys in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl after recovering from his right shoulder injury. Allen had missed the last two games for the Cowboys after injuring his throwing shoulder in the road game at Air Force.

This is good news all around for the school and its fans as it gives the masses one last look at Josh Allen in Brown & Gold before he ( most likely) declares for the 2018 NFL Draft. It also is a major boost to the Wyoming offense who has struggled in back to back losses with Nick Smith under center. The Cowboys now have a better chance to defeat the Central Michigan Chippewas on the blue turf in Boise, Idaho.

With Josh Allen back in the fold, the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl becomes must-see viewing on Friday afternoon.
