The Wyoming Cowboys are on a roll when it comes to commitments for the 2017 recruiting class and this time it is a outside linebacker from California.  6’1″, 210-pound Ryan Gatoloai-Faupula out of Sacramento (CA) Inderkum committed to the staff on November 1st.

He was offered by the Cowboys back on June 10th and visited Laramie during the weekend September 17th for the UC Davis game (45-22 victory) along with his teammate and prime Wyoming target Victor Jones.

Lead recruiter for Gatoloai-Faupula is Wyoming Recruiting Coordinator, Gordie Haug.

The Inderkum stand-out picked the Cowboys over offers from Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Nevada, Northern Colorado and North Dakota State.

When it came to selecting the Pokes, this is what Gatoloai-Faupula had to say.

“Honestly it was the atmosphere and seeing that it is a rising program that I want to be a part of.”, said Gatoloai-Faupula

He is rated as a 3-star prospect by 247 Sports.
