The 2016 University of Wyoming football schedule was released today with the Mountain West Conference setting the dates for conference match-ups. The Pokes will open the season in Laramie with a non-conference game versus Northern Illinois out of the Mid-American Conference on Saturday September 3rd. Their second home non-conference game will see UC Davis out of the FCS make a trip to War Memorial Stadium on September 17th.

The 2016 schedule also includes Mountain West Conference home games against: Air Force (October 8th), Boise State (October 29th), Utah State (November 5th) and San Diego State (November 19th). A non-conference home game versus UC Davis (September 17th) rounds out the six game home schedule.

Road games include non-conference trips to Nebraska (September 10th) and Eastern Michigan (September 24th) with conference game at Colorado State (October 1st), Nevada (October 22nd), UNLV (November 12th) and New Mexico (November 26th) to close the season.

Game times and dates aren’t completely set as Mountain West national television partners CBS Sports Network and ESPN can select games to be moved to Thursday or Friday nights.
