Wyoming basketball and wrestling inked new recruits today.

Today was national signing day for Cowboy and Cowgirl basketball as well as Cowboy wrestling. The signing period is when high school student athletes ink the papers to attend college the following year. Today Cowboy basketball signed one, Cowgirl basketball signed two, and Cowboy wrestling signed two.

Cowboy basketball signed  their only recruit today, Austin Mueller from ThunderRidge High School in Highlands Ranch, CO. Mueller is a 6’6″ 210 pound small forward. Coach Larry Shyatt today said, “I don’t like him, I love him, based on the whole picture.” Shyatt also went on to note that “the best part of his game is his passion and work ethic.” Mueller was named to the 2015 All-Continental team. His team played for the Colorado state championship but was beaten by Overland. He played in that championship game against current Cowboy basketball player Austin Conway.
