Wyoming can no longer become bowl eligible and reach the 6 win mark this season after the loss at Boise State last weekend but other teams in the Mountain West certainly will go bowling. This bowl process is not as easy to project these days with a lack of automatic bowl births based on conference affiliation and finishing order but it is a fun process to go through anyway. With that in mind, here is my initial try at projecting the Mountain West bowl games for the coming bowl season.
Las Vegas Bowl – December 19 * Boise State vs California
New Mexico Bowl – December 19 * New Mexico vs Rice
Idaho Bowl – December 22 * Utah State vs Western Michigan
Poinsettia Bowl – December 23 * San Diego State vs N. Illinois
Hawai’i Bowl – December 24 * Nevada vs Navy
Armed Forces Bowl – December 29 * Air Force vs Michigan
Arizona Bowl – December 29 * Colorado State vs Toledo
