Robert Herron highlighted performances form Cowboy alumni with his first career TD.

I got this idea a couple weeks ago while looking up some of our Cowboy alumni and decided to act on it. I will be posting this every Monday morning, unless there is a Cowboy playing on MNF, then I will post it on Tuesday morning. Let me know if you have any ideas to make this weekly post better. Thanks!

Malcom Floyd, WR, San Diego Chargers- Caught 3 passes for 72 yards, including a season long 49 yarder, in a 31-0 win over the NY Jets to help the Chargers move to 4-1. Floyd continues to be the Chargers number one deep threat, as he has been for most of his career. He currently leads all receivers in yards per reception (21.6), with a minimum of 10 rec.

2014 Stats: 5 G 5 GS 12 REC 259 YDS 21.6 AVG 2 TD

Next Week: @ Raiders (0-4) 2:05 PM MT

Tashaun Gipson, S, Cleveland Browns- Made 4 tackles and had 1 pass defended in the Browns 29-28 come from behind victory over the Titans. Gipson is currently T5 in the NFL with 2 interceptions and 3rd in return yards (79), including this 62 yard TD.

2014 Stats: 4 G 4 GS 19 TT 11 SOLO 8 AST 3 PD 2 INT 79 YDS 1 TD

Next Week: Vs. Steelers (3-2) 11:00 AM MT

Robert Herron, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Caught one pass for 9 yards for his first career touchdown in a 31-37 loss to the Saints. Herron has been playing a little more every week and the Bucs continue to use him in slot.

2014 Stats: 4 G 0 GS 4 REC 27 YDS 6.8 AVG 1 TD

Next Week: Vs. Ravens (3-2) 11:00 AM MT

Marqueston Huff, DB, Tennessee Titans- Huff, faced off against Gipson’s Browns, and recorded 1 tackle in the Titans 28-29 loss. Huff has seen most of his action in special teams thus far and has done a nice job in that role.

2014 Stats: 5 G 0 GS 4 TT 2 SOLO 2 AST 0 PD O INT

Next Week: Vs. Jags (0-5) 11:00 AM MT

Mitch Unrein, DT, Denver Broncos- Unrein was inactive for Denver’s 41-20 victory over Arizona. Unrein’s role has diminished this season as Denver’s DL has gotten healthier and deeper. Unrein has been inactive for three of Denver’s first four games. Unrein has been a productive player for Denver in his career and is an injury away from being thrown into action.

2014 Stats: 1 G 0 GS 0 TT

Next Week: @ NYJ (1-4) 11:00 AM MDT

Mike Purcell, DT, San Francisco 49ers- Purcell remains on the Niners practice squad, where he has been all season.

Next Week: @ Rams (1-3) Mon. 6:30 PM MDT

Chris Prosinski, S, Free Agent- Prosinski remains a free agent but played in the Jaguars first three games before getting released after a hand injury. I thought he was worth noting since he saw action in 2014 and could get picked up once healthy.

2014 Stats: 3 G 0 GS 5 TT 2 SOLO 3 AST 0 PD 0 INT
