Footballscoop.com a leading football coaching news site is reporting that Wyoming defensive line coach Derrick LeBlanc is headed to Southern Mississippi after just one season and six months in Laramie. Here is what they had to say:

Southern Miss: Sources tell us Wyoming defensive line coach Derrick LeBlanc will be the new defensive line coach at Southern Miss.

LeBlanc came to Wyoming after stints at LSU, Arkansas Tech and Missouri State. He was responsible for recruiting the southern states for Wyoming so it comes as no surprise he would accept a job in the area he has recruited and coached in almost all his career. This will open up a spot on Wyoming’s defensive staff and we will keep you updated on how coach Dave Christensen fills this spot during the busy recruiting season.
