Per Eric Schmoldt's Twitter: Question finally answered. Daylen Harrison will not return to the Wyoming men's basketball program. #gopokes

That is kind of surprising...saw him working out over the weekend with some other Pokes.
Is it a case of him going, or being let go...do you know?
Or was it something else perhaps?

Dear Karma,
I have a list of people you missed...

Just what is the status of a player if he is told that his scholarship will not be renewed? (presumably they can do that). Is he immediately eligible to play for another D1 school?
No tears shed from me over his departure. But what is the opinion of the ratings of importance of the remaining players? Probably Washington first then Cruz and Waddell. But the rest?

I am sure it was his choice. It probably wasn't a coincidence that he skipped Shyatt's intro and jc said as much about Harrison a few days ago.McPeachy wrote:That is kind of surprising...saw him working out over the weekend with some other Pokes.

This obviously is not a big impact transfer like Jackson and Mbaye.
Schroyer left a giant smoking crater when he got done destroying our program. It will take time to recover, no doubt.
The surprising thing to me is how worthless/negative the presence of Anthony Stewart turned out to be for the UW program. I was really high on him as a member of the staff (and obviously he is a much more likable individual than Schroyer or Langley), but not only did he recruit very few impact players (and any impact they had was on a 10-21 team, so....), but it is by and large his recruits that have bailed at the first opportunity. AJ Davis and Gibson both left the program in the middle of the season is respective years (maybe not fair to compare the situations as I don't really know what Gibson has going on) and Jackson and Harrison are taking off now (one of them following Stewart).
I have been ripping Schroyer and Langely pretty much from the time they set foot on campus, but apparently I was wrong to exempt Stewart from the same criticism.

At this point everyone is important. We only have 8 players. The most important items right now are the health of Waddell and Muojeke. If they can play effectively, it really changes the outlook.Adv8RU12 wrote:
