I was at that game (in the pep band), and have never been so pumped to watch Wyoming basketball! The kid that was in charge of wiping up sweat from the lane started the "over rated" chant against Gonzaga with about 3:00 left to play (and he was a New Mexico fan).

i will never forget when Davis slammed it in and came down and got the block, dude was a beast... Richardson, Straight, Bailey, Uche, and Davis those guys were so good... they were great the next year but Bailey got hurt and if im not mistaken still made it to the 2nd or 3rd round of the NIT n lost to UNC... These were the days and when the Pokes walked in to the arena before their game against U of AZ they got a standing O and almost upset Arizona

Wyo. was the big topic the next day on the sports talk shows. I remember Jim Rome reading an e-mail asking "Jim, why is Steve Buschemi coaching Wyoming?"

I find it hard to watch those older clips without going into a deap dark depression where I might have to drive my truck off a cliff

Yea, some of the very last great memories of Cowboy Basketball. I threw up in my mouth a little at the 1:44 mark when I saw a shot of Schroyer.
I was watching my son run indoor track at a meet in the old fieldhouse and was remembering my first Cowboy game. We beat both BYU and Utah on a Thursday/Saturday homestand to win a share of the WAC title. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever believe the program would be where it is today...never.

One of Davis' greatest games! Couldn't make it down to that game, and I've kicked myself ever since.

Side note sort of, but is Davis still playing in Europe? Think we could talk him into coaching in Laramie? If he could at least teach that hustle and fire, we'd win at least half our games.

Just sayin'

Anyone notice that Buoedo looks like bradley mann, except that he can't hit a shot.

He can't hit his ass with both hands at the same time either. Or defend a steaming pile of poop.

Easiest way to lose a lead (when we have one) or lose by a huge margin (more likely the case) is to put his ass in. He is the Eggbert of the 2010-2011 Cowboys.
