If nothing else, Hawai'i's K/PK/P Shipley just entered the portal. He got off to a rough start his freshman year, but evened out and became pretty consistent for them.
Feel bad for Hoyland though. He was one of CFB's top kickers, and then a couple bad kicks and a blocked one just wrecked him and he could never shake it.
Kicking is waaaaaaay harder than anyone gives credit for, and psychological problems run rampant at the position. Hoyland isn't the first, and won't be the last, great kicker to go down in flames.
