I wonder if he feels bad that he may have permanently ruined the Wyoming basketball program. Things have never been the same since he came here and stunk up the joint.

You give him way too much credit (or blame). He was just a poop coach, but the current state is really not his fault.

First, the current state isn't any worse than before Schroyer got here. Last 4 years under McClain we were 23-37 in MWC play. Since Schroyer left we are 55-65. We made the NCAA tournament only 4 years after he left (we had only made one in the 20 years before he arrived). We have invested plenty in facilities after his departure as well.

The Schroyer hire was awful in every way, but having a crappy team 7 years ago isn't the reason our current team failed to defend or rebound.

Schroyer was the Dingle Berry that just won't wipe away. He still haunts us.
