Finished the half 2-17 from the 3 point line and we are still up 3 points. Don't think we shoot the bad in the 2nd half.

9-16 from the 2 point area. 7-8 on free throws. 3-20 from 3. Wonder what we should do.....

Need to quit shooting all these 3's.

This shot selection is ridiculous. We have a big size and athletic advantage and we are taking low percentage outside shot? WTactualF?

4-25 now. Allen needs to tell them to drive to the basket. These 3's will cost us the game if we keep firing them up and not making them.

Doesn't help when you leave them wide open at the arc.

That probably could've been an intentional if not a technical. That kid raised his elbows up into the screen.

Defense has been good. Need to shoot a little better. Hopefully tomorrow we play a little crisper. Good game to win actually beating a team on a neutral court that went to NCAA tournament last year that returned a lot and was picked to win the Summit league. Won't look bad at all on the resume.

Shoot a little better in first half we win this game by 20. Like the way we have finished games the last two games. Good job Cowboys!

I really like this cowboys team. Could make some noise if things go well.

Nice to know we can still beat a team by double digits even when we are atrocious from the 3 pt line. Loved the way the pokes made Daum a non factor in the game. We are much more solid on defense this year. Also love seeing Hunter run the point he has a high basketball iq, Makes smart decisions and is a total mismatch for most guards defending him. We definitely didn't play our best game but love the potential this team has.

I do too. After being able watch 2 of our 3 games so far, when we play well, we seem to have all the pieces. When we play well, we seem to have some 3 point shooting threats, inside threats, players that can drive the basket and create their own shot, in general good defense, and good free throw shooting.

When we are playing well we will be hard for anyone to stop because they can't key on any one area or even really any one player.

I still worry about us getting in love with the 3. But in both the Oregon State game and this one, we seemed to adjust the strategy at a point in the 2nd half to drive the basket and it made a difference in both games. Last year I didn't think we ever really made that adjustment and totally relied on the 3 in games. This year I feel we start the games by relying on the 3 but at least in these last 2 games have seemed to make 2nd half adjustments when they were needed. :thumb:
