With Stan Kroenke becoming the largest land holder in Wyo and his football passion, does he contribute anything to NIL? What does the NIL for the Cowboys look like compared to the rest of the MWC? I think now and in the future, this will become a more important football recruiting tool. Does Bohl bring any enthusiasm to help grow a collective or would a new younger coach make any difference?

We are far behind the MWC leaders in NIL. I don’t support the NIL collective idea but perhaps those that do can raise more money than we have.SCCowboyFan wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 1:28 pm With Stan Kroenke becoming the largest land holder in Wyo and his football passion, does he contribute anything to NIL? The Sternberg report identified systemic issues WYO, the state and the university, didn't want to hear. The issues were never addressed and cast off as not understanding unique challenges at WYO. The folks running the show have created the height of WYO's unique barriers and subsequently quantified "realistic" metrics of success. Very similar to the attendance excuses. The Sternberg report highlighted this and Sternberg was run out of town.
There is no coach coming into this situation and fixing it. It's similar to jumping in a raft with a hole in it. Some coaches will be able to bucket water faster than others but until the hole is fixed, it'll be just trying to keep the raft from sinking.
