He might have some dumb things to say, he might have some smart things to say, but either way I am NOT going to take the time to read them.

funny you mention that...if texas goes to the acc my new manifesto has ok and ok state going to the pac 12 instead of unlv and hawaii...

also the south division of the big 12 goes retro (the old southwest conference lives again?)

What is your SMU going to do? And without the AD they just fired?

Well, some SMOO fans are worried like the have-nots.
Others are hoping that some other things like the tv market will help them get in a superconference, especially if it's 64 teams.

There are plenty of sports programs in power conferences that I don't find very powerful though.

It's just so SAD with what happens.......NCAA poop.........BCS poop...........etc.

if and i know its big IF but if Texas goes to the ACC as the the 16th team, ok and ok sate beg and buy their way into the pac 12, the big 12 would then have to add quite a few schools to get to 12 (my manifesto requires at least 12 schools for every conference for the championshps games btw) they could add louisville, cincy, and memphis to go with k state, ia state, and wv....but here's the fun part for old southwest conference fans...the south division adds smu, rice, and houston to go along with texas tech, texas christian, and baylor!!!

question is could these six schools agree to being in the same division/conference again?

Oh no Mr. Skunk.
Texas wants to always run the show. They are impossible. Never do business with them. Texas destroys conferences. They have a history. There is a new book called "The Pony Trap." I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. One of the Ponies talks about "the past" in what has never been discussed before. There is so much wrong with college fb.
You should throw away the manifestos and instead write some spells.
The SWC was quite a different conference! I prefer the bus leagues but one can never go back. It's over, forever. It will never be the same again. I don't want to be in a conference with the yankee schools, or the Big 8 schools, or the Big East schools. Right now I'm mad to different degrees at the old SWC programs, and I'm talking all in it's history that still play fb.
The SEC is a better cultural fit for me/us. Where I live is "The South." (I went to HS games where Dixie would be played after the national anthem etc.).
So write a spell for SMU and Rice to go to the SEC.
Hey, it's late so nobody laugh!
But it's true that I will not pay so much attention to the new Big East that I will the SEC. The Big 12 can f-word off. Football has been ruined a lot for a lot of us, the ones who spend the money on it.

sounds like wyoming will have a 1 in 58 chance of making the new national tournament but if you really listen to those guys in the expensive suits that 1 spot will almost always go to Big East champion...so once again my manifesto is still the best/fair/fun/money making playoff format out there....sak2.0!!!

which means that AF is almost assured to going to the Big East to join their military rivals (14th school)
you would think that byu would apply/ask for big east membership also (15th school)
16th???

no way, its just getting good now...maryland to the big 10...rutgers will follow later this week...uconn should get an invite to the acc and i think texas will still maybe be given the special notre dame treatment and join the acc on limited basis and now the biggest ? is what the hell is the big east gonna do? i'm thinking about dropping a new manifesto here shortly...including something i call "INVASION WEEK"...
