Why does our basketball program insist on recruiting 3 point shooters? Without a solid base for offense (you know a system of plays that open up the perimeter...and a big-man underneath the basket) we will never be a "3-point shooting team"! We need to recruit a solid center...none of these skinny forwards who think they can shoot from the outside. We need him to pound the boards and draw the defense into the key to open up the perimeter!

Did you ever notice how we played as a team with Davis, Bailey, Amadi and Dante Richardson. When they all left is when we went down hill. Why? Because it was the JAY STRAIGHT show!!!Retarded. One on five basketball and we rarely won. Then it became the Brandon Ewing show. Shortly after, the Ewing Jones show. And then last year started as the Afam show and ended as the Desmar Jackson show. Everyone of them loved playing one on one basketball.

Don't you know the focus of our recruiting last year was to add shooters. We brought in Cruz and Hudson and well, they were considered the best shooters we recruited since at least Manzano, who was the best shooter we recruited since the Greek God. Oh, that's right Manzano and the Greek God never made it back for a second semester. Big men? Remember we had the Belgium bust and then the 7-2 Sylla who was going to dominate the MWC after avearing 2.1 points and 1.9 rebounds a game in high school and then sitting on the bench with a stress fracture in his foot at Auburn. Oh that's right he's not done but still sitting on the bench with a stress fracture in his foot.
