NDSU @ WYOMING, Sept 13th, We coming!

About the only thing that I'm not certain of is if the thin air up in the mountains is going to be an advantage or not.

Obviously it's impossible to prepare for it unless the team spends a couple months out there.

I would like to point out that we did fine at Southern Utah in 05 and 06.

Here's to hoping that we get enough oxygen!

We aren't pulling the elevation card with a D-2 team are we?

Wyoming would beat NDSU (and Minnesota, and Central Michigan, and whomever else NDSU has beaten) if the game was at sea level and the holy trinity was standing on their sidelines.

So are the Cowboys! This should be a good game, but I don't think UW will be taking the Bison lightly. The Cowboys won't be looking at this game any different than any other game either. Football season is just a little over a month away.

What's the TV schedule like for the Pokes this year? Anything that can be found in Montana? :)

Bets me. I'm in hell.....Oklahoma City. So I'm not much help.

Some of these posts from NDSU remind me of all the smack we had to endure before the Virginia game. You remember? The team we destroyed and held to hardly NO offense. I will agree that we need to be ready for NDSU and NOT overlook them. I hate pre-season smack talk in general. there are SO many questions to answer on both teams at this time of year. I don't even want to think about stupid NDSU at this point. We need to focus on Ohio first. GO POKES!!

Ditto, I am going mad with anticipation. Bring on the season, I want to start watching the pokes kick some butt.

This...............is......................like..............................watching....................a..........
.......pot................................of...............................water...........................boil.

Damn....when is September coming!!!!

WELL WELL WELL...

JULY 28th. 9:50 Am.

Lakes has 8 tickets, Lakes has two 2 bedroom suites at a LARAMIE hotel.

Lakes is ready to destroy laramie, is LARAMIE ready for us??

WE COMING!!!!!!!!! WE COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LET THE SMACKETH BEGIN!!

I found out last week that WY is not letting NDSU televise the game and now they aren't even going to video stream it. What's up with that? Is this normal for WY?

The University of Wyoming has no say so about the tv. That goes for every team in the Mountain West Conference. CSTV who is now owned by CBS has full control over it. The MWC made a deal a couple of years back with CSTV who is paying the teams in the conference i think 110 million dollars over 10 years to be in control of TV schedules. So it is up to CSTV or CBS as to what games they want to televise. This is of course only for MWC teams home games as road games are up to the home team and whoever they are contracted with at the time. So if you have a complaint you need to get a hold of CBS as the University of Wyoming has no say so in it what so ever. Most of Wyoming's games are broadcast on "The Mountain" network which is available on direct tv but it looks like they have chose not to pick up the game , so you can contact them and if you get enough NDSU fans complaining about it something might come of it, highly unlikely but you never know. The tv deal has been a big pain in the butt for most teams and fans in the conference until they finally got this deal on direct tv.

What about video streaming? Does WY even to that and do they control it?

Wouldn't shock me if UW has no control over that either.
