This is insane. 14 team conference, two will be football-only members. The Big Sky now owns every teams West of the Dakotas except U of San Diego. Cripes! Travel will be from Portland, OR and San Luis Obispo, CA to Grand Forks, ND and Vermillion, SD.

Yeah, it sounds like the Big Sky is getting prepped for some teams leaving to the WAC.
hopefully ISU is dropping their football program. I don't think either MT school is going anywhere. I wonder what might happen w/Sac and Portland. There were a lot of rumors earlier about those two jumping to the WAC. I like the addition of the Dakota schools, but why SUU?
Go coyotes! USD coming in will compete with most right away in football, but can be inconsistant at times. In guys hoops they will contend for conference titles right away. Saying this it scares me the pokes travel to vermillion this year as I'll prolly get to never hear the end of it like when they lost to sodak state at the beginning of last season.

ISU will be fine. EWU and NAU are the biggest threats to drop football.msuhunter wrote:hopefully ISU is dropping their football program. I don't think either MT school is going anywhere.
