Did he get an offer, or is he a walk-on?
Not that it really matters, I'm sure he's a talented athlete to be in that position to begin with.

was wondering the same thing. He's definitely on the smaller side 6'-1" 170# or so. Guessing PWO?Asmodeanreborn wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 9:57 pm Did he get an offer, or is he a walk-on?

This is an intriguing one for sure. The kid had monster numbers but from what I can see wasn't seriously considered by any FBS schools. He's small and also apparently had a shoulder injury.
Looks like a great athlete who can find a spot somewhere. Saw he was also a CB. If we offered him a scholarship, I imagine we told him he would have a shot to try QB but if he didn't land there we would find somewhere else he could make a difference. OR we offered him the same opportunity with a Walk on.

That's actually a pretty funny thread:
"Even the kind to make P5 coaches look dumb perhaps. But they got to make decisions based on what they've seen work before. For all the Doug Fluties, there's 20 who didn't work out."
"27"
"List them"
"I don’t want to type Cody Hawkins 27 times."
Looks like Marquez is indeed a preferred walkon. I'll be pulling for him.

JJ Tucker is an absolute must get for us. Down to the wire with UNLV and Hawaii.
I think he was holding out for a PAC 12 offer....

Huh, what's the "career-ending injury" he had? Wonder what position he played in baseball...303cowboy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 10:01 am https://twitter.com/jaxonboley/status/9 ... 2536640512 6'-6" 230# TE

Intriguing signing for sure.

Wonder if he had Tommy John surgery or something. Not always career ending, but can be pretty devastating for a high school pitcher. Either way, love talented multi-sport athletes and I hope he makes a positive impact here.

Love stockpiling size at tight end. Marcotte is supposedly 6'7".303cowboy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 10:01 am https://twitter.com/jaxonboley/status/9 ... 2536640512 6'-6" 230# TE
