Wyoming currently leads 12-7. Tough loss as Colgan loses 4-3 to Ream in a matchup of ranked wrestlers. Ashworth in a big match with Fogarty.

Eagan with a win at HWT 3-2. Pokes win the dual 32-8 in the most complete performance of the year. NDSU is a decent team and the Pokes took it to them.

I’m surprised that there hasn’t been more discussion of Krueger going up 4 weight classes and giving up 40 pounds and getting a pin. At the collegiate level, that is just mind blowing as no 197 lber should be getting pinned by a 157 lber.

Out of all the accomplishments of the team this year so far, this seems the most improbable to me.

I think they are trying to find a home for Krueger. Cody has not wrestled well at 197. Dewey had the frame for 197 and I think he may bulk up. Remember LJ Helbig was a 174 and did well at HWT

Agree about Krueger. May be we should beef him up and make him our 97 pounder?

I think we got to get Krueger in the lineup based on his talent. Vigoren isn’t the answer this year as Branch has figured out. However, there isn’t enough time to put on the necessary size before the Big 12s and we need Krueger at 57s next year when Colgan is gone.

I think it makes a lot of sense to move Polson to 197 and let Krueger compete at 184. I would leave Pope at 174 because as of now he has a good chance of qualifying. I think Polson could be really good against the bigger and slower 197s.

Wyoming destroyed Fresno State 40-6. The coaches must read this board because Krueger wrestled at 184 and I suspect he will be there for the rest of the season.

Have to cut Fresno some slack...this is their first year after bringing the program back.

Fresno is a program with great potential. Central Valley is a wrestling hotbed
