Wyoming cruising against Duke, won the first 5 matches, 3 by extra points (1 major, 1 Tech, 1 Forfeit). Up 21-0 with 5 matches to go.

The win over North Carolina is a really good win as it was at North Carolina at a time the Cowboys aren't accustomed to (7 AM MTN). North Carolina is actually ranked in intermat's dual team rankings while Wyoming (for some strange reason) is not.
Wyoming destroys Duke 34-7. I just don't think Mullins is the answer at HWT. That is the real weak link on an otherwise really solid team. (we could improve at 125 and 197 as well)
I don't see Army or American being able to hang with this Wyoming team but here is to hoping the Cowboys don't have a letdown this afternoon.

Might as well rename the team to the Duke Finesilvers. The team has 4 Finesilvers all from Cherry Creek in Denver.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Fri Jan 05, 2018 10:57 am Colgan had a good win over #10 Finesilver of Duke. Bridges beat a ranked guys from North Carolina. Two of the best wins.

Yes. Two sets of twins. They have been Cherry Creek wrestling for the past 6 years or so.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Fri Jan 05, 2018 11:08 amall brothers?OrediggerPoke wrote: ↑Fri Jan 05, 2018 11:02 amMight as well rename the team to the Duke Finesilvers. Wyoming destroys Army 38-3! Eagen with a tech fall win at HWT (I think he has to be the starter from here on out). The only loss was Pope at 174 pounds.
Meredith 3-3 today with 3 first period pins. He is on fire!

I believe you mean the HWT Hunter Mullins? If so, I agree. I was not impressed watching him against OKST as he simply gave up takedowns rather than even attempting to fight them off IMO. I hope he turns it around because he was one of Wyoming's more highly ranked recruits in recent years with great results at Fargo Greco/Freestyle Nationals.

Great day out there Pokes! I only got to watch Bridges' and Merideth's last matches. Holy cow Bryce is dominant and Bridges is really, really good. Tough to take down. Archie came away with his 100th win and Ashworth had some great results. I'm headed out to Cleveland to watch these guys at nationals this year. Should be awesome! We have a chance to make some real noise out there. Top 15 or maybe even as good as 10th with how we're looking is my prediction.

Wish I could go. I watched the American dual. Very impressed with Bridges too. He kicked Terao’s butt. Montorrie is a legit top 10 guy.'PokeForLife wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 9:40 am Great day out there Pokes! I only got to watch Bridges' and Merideth's last matches. We’ve got a contender in Bryce, a top 10 guy in Bridges and two top 10-15 guys in Ashworth and Colgan. We’re almost back up to the Golden years of Leblanc and onufer
