Personally, I'd go with "Strawberry Jam and the Gliders". U could switch out Gliders for travellers. Dalton is definitely Strawberry Jam though.

...except we need to reserve the Dunktown moniker for a team that, you know, actually dunks a ball now-and-then.
As good as this team looks, I think we really caught lightning in a bottle with Josh Adams, Larry Nance, and Derek Cooke all on the same team when it comes to sheer athletic ability.

That was a special team. I wish Larry could have stayed healthy!

Yeah I know I was just watching Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, ChardeeMacDennis episode and it sounded funny. It was all I had at the moment.WilyWapiti wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 8:06 am...except we need to reserve the Dunktown moniker for a team that, you know, actually dunks a ball now-and-then.

It was definitely a product of Shatts offense as well. As old school as papa shy was that man loved slamming the ball down his opponents throat.wyoair wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 8:09 amYeah I know I was just watching Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, ChardeeMacDennis episode and it sounded funny. As mentioned earlier though definitely helps when 3 of best dunkers in program history are on the same squad. Just great memories indeed.
Agreed. A near complete 180 in terms of offense with Edwards. A better nickname now that I think about it would be Tray Town or 3 town....Tray Town has a better ring to it.poke_addict wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 10:12 amIt was definitely a product of Shatts offense as well. You know the team is deep when you can rest both JJ and the Ginger Avenger at the same time and still cruise into the final.
Wyoming Cowboy basketball:
National Champions 1943.
Helm's foundation National Champions 1934.
NCAA tournament MVP and two time College Basketball Player of the Year Kenny Sailors, who is credited with inventing the jump shot.
Do you remember Cowboy Basketball?
I do.

That's how teams win championships and go deep into March.Cowboy Junky wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 5:37 pm You know the team is deep when you can rest both JJ and the Ginger Avenger at the same time and still cruise into the final.
