...just became bowl eligible. With NY6 out of the picture, the MW has 5 bowl tie-ins...but currently 6 eligible teams. Wyoming has arguably the best traveling fan base in the MW. Will not be shocked to see the Pokes end up in Frisco, or somewhere else outside the 5 bowl tie-ins.

I was actually thinking this same thing earlier. Wouldn't be surprise to see the Pokes play one of the bowls in Arizona. The Cactus bowl would be so badass

My 2nd favorite team in the MW.
"I never saw a buckin' hoss to top Steamboat. Fact is, he was the closest thing to perpetual motion that ever wore hair. Few men could stand that kind of battering without bleeding from the nose, and most became nauseated as well. Ol' Steamboat put some of the toughest into the hospital for repairs."

Not if Josh Allen isn't playing. Our traveling fan base would be much smaller with Smith as qb. The outside bowls know this too. Also, bowl executives won't be thrilled with a team that will be lucky to score 14 points in a game.

We better take care of SJSU - 8 wins is a lot harder to pass over than 7.

There are so many bowl games that a few 5-7 teams are getting in. The pokes will be in a bowl game just a matter of where.

How long has Josh Allen been around? 1960's+? We have always traveled well. It is much more about the team and experience than 1 player. I for one wish Josh had declared last year and Brian Hill stayed one more year. When you have a run game like we had last year, every quarterback looks like the #1 draft pick. We don't need to throw the ball 80 yards every play - we just need to get 4+ yards per throw. Anyone can do that. Not everyone can run through the holes our line provides.

This year the Cowboys are really good at getting 4 yards on a throw.....if it's 3rd and 7.
