So, why did we offensively move away from what worked in the first series, though? After all those shorter successful plays, it seemed like it was all about getting big ones - except for on third down.

Man..... our line blew it...... good to be up at half but jeez gotta be tough in crunch time......

We need something like a defensive TD to help us out..... outside our first drive....the offense just can't sustain drives....D looking good so far......

Why on earth do we not spike that and get one more play or just go for the hail mary directly? And Allen with no timeouts and 20 sec left just 12 yards from fg range you can't just take the sack. Get rid of that ball! The offense is frustrating. Thank God the d is looking good though. Need a turnover or two in the second half

We have to be able to run the ball via a running back..... otherwise..... play action is worthless....

I can't imagine how bad this offence would be without Josh. Below average running backs, below average line , below average wide outs,average tight ends. We do have a stud at fullback.

People like to bitch about running on first down in a ball control, pro style offense.

Guess what: it works.

We're leading at half on the scoreboard, in total yards, and in time of possession.

I think this game comes down to turnovers in the second half. Whoever gets em is going to win.
