Re: High point of the 2013 season

High point for me was at the academy. Loved that one. Bohl - no thanks. D1 - FBS current head coach all the way. I would agree, for me the high point was kicking ass and taking names at Springs. But I am 100% on board with Bohl, and if we can't get him for any reason i wouldn't be against chasing t...

Re: Massive Student turnout last night!

When I was a student, I was at damn near every game. What else are they doing? At this point in the semester a lot of us are busy with classes. I think student attendance will pick up when next semester starts. I also think the lack of success in football has students down on Wyoming sports in gene...

Re: Massive Student turnout last night!

When I was a student, I was at damn near every game. What else are they doing? I know this isn't true for all of them but Saturday I had a couple friends not make it because they are trying to get as much fishing as they can before it all freezes, and a couple more who were at state football, then ...

Re: Massive Student turnout last night!

I wasn't there either, I had a class til 7:30 then a paper due at midnight, tried to get it done early but couldn't You should meet up with the group of students from on here going. It was a pretty fun little group, and it can only get better. Unfortunately, I can't go this friday either. I'll be t...

Re: Brett Smith: Greatest QB in WYO history.

Again... the wins argument or lack of wins is on DC. not Brett. If you put Brett on any of the great teams who has had, then those teams are even better. That's what makes him the best. Put some of the more winning QBs on this team and we still don't have a 5th win. Not according to your self-appoi...

Re: Jackson State @ Wyo

Hankerson seems to be getting a little bit more comfortable each game. He seems to be able to get into the lane and create things and he has great passing skills. I think the more he plays each game the better he will be. Actually I think the same thing can be said for everyone on the team. They ha...

Re: Wyoming athletic department moving forward

Don't worry guys, I casually planted the seed for us to hire Bohl during the basketball game. Every time Burman walked by the student section I would yell Craig Bohl. It will be like inception I planted the seed, and now it will grow and think it will be his own idea. Lol...I wish I was there for t...

Re: Press

This is to those of you who saw the Arkansas St game, but do you see the press we used some of that game becoming a staple throughout the year, and into MWC play? It looked pretty awesome, but then it wasn't exactly UNM we were doing it against I think that we do it at certain times against teams a...

Re: How much longer does the saga continue?

I like Bohn and think we NEED to go after a named coach not an up and coming OC or DC. WE need a head coach. Bohl is making 200K a year. Offer the guy 800K (Wyoming can do better) and that's already 3 times more his salary. I really think Wyoming can get the guy if they really want to. Enough with ...

Re: How much longer does the saga continue?

Anyone who thinks we can get Bohl (or any decent coach, for that matter) on the cheap is forgetting that we're not the only ones shopping. The market determines the price. I agree, I honestly could see Nebraska getting rid of Bo and Bohl going there, where he's from and played and coached in the pa...

Re: How much longer does the saga continue?

How about Michigan States D-Coordinator? Tell you one thing, that would be a huge change to the entire program. And J-Rod that might be right but its easier to get a couple breaks on offense and win 14-10 than getting stops on defense and still needing the offense to put up 42 minimum, in my opinio...

Re: How much longer does the saga continue?

With the total nuclear meltdown of this football program over the last several weeks, with zero in the way of light at the end of the tunnel, I just cannot see any way that the administration at UW can sell the football ticket buying public on another season of Christensen. This season has been a n...
