Re: In consideration of Wilson's recent awards...

Bump.

Nulph ran an article today about this class. Because they now charge, I only saw the tweet from Gags referencing it but couldn't read.

Anybody see this? What it say? I am assuming he is complimentary to this class...

Re: Stanard is not being retained as DC

Perhaps this will signal the beginning of the switch from the 4-3 to the 3-4. This scheme switch would allow Kevin Prosser to play OLB which is his natural position along with more athletic LB's as a whole. Since we've struggled a bit on the DLine this scheme would also allow us to rely less on big ...

Re: 2017 Schedule Outlook

Maulhardt won't be a big loss; Gentry and Hollister will be. Roullier is a big loss too. I don't think Hill will be the loss we all think. Frankly, I think he is too easy to plan against and I think his departure (whenever it occurs) will force Vigen to open up the offense more. Don't get me wrong, ...

Re: Mountain west bowl games

Thought Houston would be a bad match up for us. Kinda wish we had played today! Herman leaving have that big of an effect? Or did he escape before he was exposed? Since we can't manage history, it's now time to root for a MWC sweep! Yes that means rooting for the sheep and BSU; only makes us look be...

Re: What Provo is Saying/Reporting

Man, win 1 national title in football and leave to go on an independent status and keep the holier than thou attitude, BYU isn't relevant in ANYTHING, GET OVER YOURSELVES, news flash the Pac 12 still ain't calling BS, they didn't win poop! That MNC is the reason why college football has been tweaki...

Re: In consideration of Wilson's recent awards...

We also had the beast who is quitting or playing (I don't know which anymore) at Tennessee. He didn't last long here, but Bohl got a guy who the SEC courted REALLY hard after he left us. Bohl and company can find talent. Still irritated by that one. It was the one major piece we were missing when g...

Class of '14 along with B Hill. That was the first class that was only a two and a half month cycle as Bohl finished his playoff run at NDSU.

In consideration of Wilson's recent awards...

it got me to thinking of how the recruiting class of 2015 will go down in the annals... Remember, it is the first class in which this staff had a full cycle. Consider this, the class has already produced two All-Americans, albeit freshmen, in Logan and Andrew Wingard . Two players who aren't as deco...

Three guys in the waiting room of the maternity ward; Baptist, Catholic, and Mormon. Dr. to Baptist: Congrats, you're the father of a new son. Baptist: Awesome! That's four. One more and I'll have a basketball team. Dr. to Catholic: Congrats, you're the father of a new son. Catholic: Awesome! That's...

Re: I've noticed as he goes so does our defense

In our wins he was exceptional in our losses he has been forgettable. I do not know what it is but he was completely lost against UNLV and New Mexico our two most disgraceful losses. I just rewatched the game. If you watch you will notice that he makes a B-Line for his assignment, regardless of who...

Re: Chandler Garrett Transferring?

Yea it's bad timing. He travels and suits up and appears he helps signal in plays as he wears a headset and disco vest. Dino is a turd. If this is all true, he probably told Dino in confidence intending for it not to come out until after the season. I've seen Dino working his schmoozing magic on a n...

Re: 5 Things I Think: Week 11 Edition [Wyonation Blog]

While Wingard is racking up a crazy amount of tackles and he's seemingly everywhere, he also misses tackles and misreads plays more often. I get that he'll get better and that he's only a sophomore, though. What makes May so valuable is that he often hits the player in the gap, limiting the gain on...

Re: Trying to be COMPLETELY objective...

Pumphery, while shifty, fast, and great vision, has size issues. And not sure how he is in pass blocking. Hill, while not a speedster, isn't slow, but has shown to be a pretty good pass AND run blocker, has great vision, and plows through defenders. I'll take Hill, though I wouldn't say "no&qu...

The Elder Wingard on the radio in Nebraska

Caught a couple of his interviews and found them to post here. The first one starts at about the 17 minute mark and he makes a hilarious comment about football in Colorado: http://www.cfsports.co/hailvarsity/2016_09_09.mp3 Here's another from Omaha: https://soundcloud.com/liquid-shane-o/sep-9-seg-2-...
