I agree the defense has gotten better but his "conviction" that the ground and pound will work at Wyoming is off in my opinion. He needs to change the offense. Or at least get more creative. Hopefully with his comment today regarding needing to open up the playbook or get a bigger playboo...

And there has been significant improvement in the program since he took over.

This game was pretty reminiscent of the game at Nebraska in 2016. Competitive game early, but the depth of the Autonomous 5 program wins out in the end.

I think that perspective is also important when looking forward to the rest of this season. All is not lost. We can still have a good season.

Once the screen play got blown up, they were behind the sticks. If they're aggressive and throw an INT in that situation, the lead and any momentum we had is gone.
