Re: Rotation next season?
Haha....I remember multiple times during the season laughing at some shots Hundson took. I'm hoping Hudson was suffering from freshmenitis as I think he could be better with a coaching change. And if Cruz picks up his defense, the guy can be a major contributor on a consistent basis. I like the way...

Is Grabau back in the mix?
It was mentioned on another board he might be. Also mentioned below that Gilmore could swipe his spot for a scholly. Could be getting crowded which is a problem I like.

Re: There are a lot of reasons to play ball in Laramie...
The last eight seasons have slowly sucked the life from our fanbase. And Poke fans are some of the least bandwagonish on the planet. Knowing how we can pack the AA when we're playing even marginally well, not to mention championship caliber, has made it so disheartening watching the crowds dwindle e...

Re: New York Kid Visiting Today?
I've always thought the biggest challenge in recruiting was to get the players here on an official visit to begin with. That alone must garner impressive skills on the coaches' behalf. And once here, the artful science of persuasion and impression seems so much more likely with this coaching staff v...

Re: Larry Nance Wyoming Visit
we haven't seen these type of recruits come to Wyo in a long time You know, really, we haven't. Why couldn't McClain or Schroyer get it done? McClain did get a couple good guys, but then failed to elevate their games while they were here. As true as that may be, and I so hope you are spot on, we re...

Re: Pokes on radio
Speaking of radio stations here in Laramie, what the hell happened to 98.7? It used to classic rock, but now it's all modern crap that dares to go by the name of "rock." For some ungodly reason they converted it to a head-banging station, and as much as I used drive my folks nuts with my ...

Re: Pokes on radio
One more option, I have never tried to listen to it online as I live in Laramie but this is the local station that carries the games on the radio http://www.kowb1290.com/ so you may want to check it out. Love listening to Dave and Kevin but the commercials can drive me nuts. Seems to be way more th...

Re: Quarterbacks
It's Sween's job to lose. Benjamin will challenge and may end up starting later in the season but not against Weber or Texas. I don't care how good ACS is coming in, his impact would be marginalized by a brutal schedule and the QB shuffle. He should be redshirted. This team will not contend for a co...

Re: watching the Loyola game
A win on the road is always a good thing. We didn't play very well tonight, but we came away with the W. I understand that Loyola Marymount is a pretty bad team, but keep in mind that they gave Notre Dame a pretty good game earlier this year. I'll take a win on the road no matter who the team is. I...

Re: One thing from the box score jumps out at me
Someone who was at the game, can you explain how we took 20 fewer shots than PV A&M? We outrebounded them by three, committed 5 fewer fouls, and the TO margin was only -7... that seems like a quirky stat that I hope can be explained by someone who saw the flow of the game. That seems to be the ...

http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/wyo/sports/m-baskbl/auto_action/2494036.jpeg This team is exceptionally "raw" right now and needs game experience and perhaps better conditioning. The bigs get winded easily and start slacking on defense. Help defense underneath is severely lacking whic...

Montana started four seniors that are the class of the Big Sky and a perennial NCAA Tourney team. The young Cowgirls did fine considering it was at their place in a very hostile environment. When Aubrey gets back, look out MWC.

Re: Pokes win 84-58 in opener
I can live with this crappy OOC schedule this season but I hope it's not the direction we take every year. This team needs better competition that compares to the MWC teams, especially UNLV and SD State. This team could surprise and end up in the top half of the conference. If they stay healthy who ...

UNLV thought John Robinson would be their savior too about ten years ago. Not saying it wouldn't work but wondering if he could really draw the same BCS caliber athlete to UW as he did to Tenn.
