Re: Cornhuskers not looking good
Here's a look at Scott Frost's offense. It's a shotgun option, leaning heavy on the run game. I still think Craig Bohl's pro style scheme is a better fit at Nebraska and something their boosters would prefer over Scott Frost's offense: although Scott Frost's offense is averaging almost twice the po...

AFA has been horrible vs. the run. Overstreet emerged last week as a legit between the tackles threat. Traditionally AFA linemen are a little bit undersized. I think we'll run the ball as well as we've ran it all year vs. AFA, although it wouldn't surprise anyone if we didn't. What do you think Wyom...

Re: Cornhuskers not looking good
Something else to consider, some are predicting the coach gets canned this week. If Scott Frost is the guy, who is he going to target for his coaching staff? I have a feeling our d coordinator would be a hot item, as well as vigen. Stanard not so much lol Hazelton came from the NDSU tree, not the N...

Re: Cornhuskers not looking good
If you do a twitter search of "Craig Bohl"....he's not the first choice, but he's definitely the second choice behind Scott Frost, at least among fans.
Hopefully, they'll land Frost and he'll retire from Nebraska after a Tom Osborne like career there.

Re: Cornhuskers not looking good
Exactly. The one thing I think he has going for him is his lack of experience as the head coach at a higher level. He hasn't won a conference title at Wyoming yet. Nebraska's current coach was an average coach at Oregon State. I doubt their boosters will want to take a chance on another unproven coa...

Re: Cornhuskers not looking good
How long does their coach last? I was just watching Minnie pound them a bit while studying for my journeyman's test. They're about to go to 4-6 on the season. I don't think Mike Riley survives this year. Scott Frost is out there, but is a top candidate for Florida. The Nebraska job scares me. If we...

Re: Season opener
I'm surprised no one else noticed. I know Gorski, Moemeka, and Mack are missing due to injury. Why didn't Naughton see the floor last night? Is he hurt or suspended? Was wondering the same. Here is a crazy thought which I am sure is not the case: could he be taking a RS year? We have a lot of bodie...

Re: Season opener
We look to be largely the same team. When the 3s fall it looks good and when they not we look like a really sloppy, undisciplined team. I hope it’s just the early season rustiness but judging by how we played last year I’d say probably not. The team is just not consistent and commit way too many tu...

Re: Thoughts on Cowboy Basketball
Kelly's +/- had to be 10 points while he was on the floor in the first half of the opener. When he was on the floor we went on runs. I think he out played Redding in the first half. Someone q up the stats.

Re: Season opener
They let the defensive intensity slip as the shorter subs got minutes, but when we have 6'10, 6'9, 6'7, 6'7 on the floor (combinations of Jones, Dalton, Herndon, Maldonado, James, Meuller) we're absolutely suffocating on defense.

Re: Season opener
If it wasn't for the turnover, no rebounding fest, we'd be pounding them by 30.

Re: Thoughts on Cowboy Basketball
I prefer a guy like Luster. Let the other guys on the team score, and do everything else well. Just because you're point doesn't shoot it a lot doesn't mean he isn't effective. I wasn't going to bring it up, but this is why I can't take you seriously when it comes to PG's. Do you remember telling e...

Re: Thoughts on Cowboy Basketball
Don't really want to get into the middle of this one but...historicaly speaking, Brandon Ewing is the best point guard in Wyoming history. I'm not going to reference the stats because anyone with an ounce of motivation can find them. Please consider his coaching. He was a scoring machine the likes ...

PTSD is no joke. I know too many people who are affected. I hope you are able to find something that works to mitigate yours. Says the guy that uses mental illness as an insult or a punch line if it fits his argument. Hypocrite much? :thumb: Uh... what are you talking about? I can't recall ever usi...
