Re: UW Block Grant Budget Amendment
Why do you need a certain ‘political ideology’ to be against the legislature banning certain college curriculum and suppressing speech and thought? I’ve never been accused of being a ‘liberal’ by those that know me. I am vehemently opposed to this line of legislation. I forecast lots of qualified f...

Re: Regarding transfers
Preliminary Injunction against the NCAA handed down today. Players who have previously transferred may now transfer again penalty free (at least for the next 14 days). For us - Waylee might be a target. https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/39105796/judge-ruling-favors-ncaa-athletes-seekin...

Re: Is Bohl Still Our Head Coach?
Dave Christensen had 2 winning seasons, and some of the worst defenses (and most predictable offenses) we ever had His offense was a 1000 times more unpredictable than what Bohl puts out there. Dimel won with what he had every year. Bohl won with Gentry, Maulhardt, and Roullier. We should hold that...

Re: Colson Coon and Luke Talich
The criticism of Talich is undeserved. He took an opportunity to go to a big time program, good for him. Maybe Notre Dame offers a degree program he is interested in. Notre Dame certainly doesn’t hurt on a resume. He never committed to Wyoming so he isn’t backing out of a commitment. Sour grapes by...

Re: Receipts
What is the most important thing about college football? In my opinion it is the development of the players and that extends beyond the gridiron. I will admit I didn't think this team was going to win many games, but I knew this was a young team. For me the biggest thing was seeing how the fight and...

Re: Air Force game thread
Nice physical game. I liked the drive on offense in the 4th to retake the lead and then do what needed to be done so they could do victory formation instead of a cardiac arrest defensive stand to win the game. Good job Pokes keep it up!

Outside of the conference outside of Air Force and maybe Fresno not looking as strong as I was originally thinking I would agree. We shall see, AFA is a big game for this team. Go Pokes, beat Air Force.

This looks familiar outside the passing TD's
Sean Chambers 3 for 7 passing with 30 yards and 2 TD and 7 Rushing attempts for 127 yards (long 55 yards) and 2 rushing TD's as Montana State defeats Morehead State out of the Pioneer League 63-13.

Re: Tulsa
Looking around the conferences, and it is looking like down years as a whole for the MW and AAC compared to the B$G, PAC, SEC, and Big 12. Still early, but with the transfer portal I think you are going to see more struggles early against the haves. Hopefully come December after a season of gelling ...

While I have low expectations, yeah I am ready for Pokes football. As long as the players are playing hard and coaches doing their best, I will watch.

Re: 2022 expections
I see nothing wrong with bohls comments. I wouldn't say I see anything wrong with what he said. A bit of an eye-roll sort of reaction to the around the corner comment is all from me. That written, I would absolutely not want Bohl saying things along the lines of what I wrote about my expectations f...

Eh, the players needed to experience the joy of rushing the field to take the Boot back.bladerunnr wrote: ↑Mon Nov 08, 2021 2:35 pm Last year doesn't count, in my mind. All the players who opted out and the fact we didn't know if we would play until literally a day before the game puts a giant asterisk next to any results from last year.

Agreed. Early on it seemed that Chambers would struggle so why not try something else before the UNM debacle. That decision will loom even larger if Levi is jaded and uses the rest of the season to up his transfer value. Who knows, but Levi doesn't seem like the guy who would do that. If he ups his...

Good for the players in getting the boot back. Still see things of concern on the offense, but they took it to the sheep and earned that boot back. Good job Pokes, good job.

Re: UNM game
I don't get the pulling of Williams unless he was hurt. Things that frustrate me. We are supposed to be a power run team, but each of the 7 games they have not been able to run in the RedZone and especially when within 10 yards. Play and effort appears to be getting worse as season progresses. I wan...

Re: OT: Aqib Talib's Favorite Recruiting Visit
To be fair that 2007 Kansas team was good, one loss and they won the Orange Bowl against Virginia Tech. While Wyoming beat Virginia that year, conference play was brutal ending the season 5-7.
