Football is back! Not on the playing field sadly but football coaches and football players will be talking about football this week in Las Vegas at Mountain West Media Day(s). The excuse to go to Vegas and “work” (and gamble/drink) for the media kicks off on Tuesday and finishes up on Wednesday. Here is the official media days schedule so you can follow the involvement of Wyoming with Nick Carlson, Luke Ruff and head coach Dave Christensen running through the media gauntlet.
Pay no attention to the preseason All-MW team and the media poll. At this point in time I could care less where Wyoming ranks in preseason honors. What really matters is how we actually do this season in terms of wins and losses. The Cowboys will not sneak up on people this season and now carry the weight of added expectations but I think Christensen will have the team ready to tackle this task.
